Welcome to Emmy Squared Pizza, a must-visit gem nestled in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located at 364 Grand St, this vibrant eatery has quickly captured the attention of pizza enthusiasts and culinary adventurers alike. Famous for its Detroit-style pizza, Emmy Squared delivers a unique, hearty experience that never fails to impress.
As you step into this hip restaurant, the energy is contagious. The walls are adorned with eclectic decor, setting the perfect backdrop for a family dinner or a romantic date night. Speaking of which, their Weekend Date Night special offers a delightful package that includes a choice of entrées, salads, and even a bottle of wine, all for just $75. Don’t miss out on their family meal option, which provides plenty of cheesy garlic sticks, robust salads, and three pizzas—all for only $70. These offerings accentuate the communal spirit of dining, inviting you to share and savor each exquisite bite together.
Beyond the crowd-pleasing pizzas, the venue is celebrated for the legendary Le Big Matt burger, which offers a juicy punch in every bite. Diners rave about the rich flavors and expertly crafted dough of the Detroit-style pizza, showcasing a perfect balance of crunch and chew. Many patrons, like Mark LoGiurato, describe the pizza as “terrific,” and it’s hard not to agree after experiencing the whirlwind of flavors in each slice. The bar also features draft wines and beers, giving guests the option to pair their meal with the perfect drink.
Customer experiences consistently highlight the top-notch service provided by the staff. Friendly servers like Nicole are well-versed in the expansive menu and can guide you to make choices that elevate your dining experience. Salad lovers will not want to skip the coveted Caesar salad, praised for its freshness and quality.
However, while most food reviewers commend the offerings, it’s worth noting that some items, like the seasonal gourda pizza, received mixed reviews for occasional inconsistencies. But such small discrepancies do not overshadow the overall excellence of the menu.
In conclusion, Emmy Squared Pizza is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary destination that embodies the essence of Brooklyn’s eclectic food scene. Whether you’re indulging in a family meal or enjoying a cozy evening with friends, you’ll find a place that resonates with flavors, creativity, and a sense of community. Don’t just take my word for it—stop by for a slice (or two) and discover your new favorite pizza spot in Williamsburg!

Really good food that definitely surprised me. There’s some great pizza spots in the area and this is one of them. The burger was also great and took me back since I wasn’t expecting that. It’s Detroit style but they have a ton of options to choose from. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.

We love coming to Emmy Squared, they have the best pizza and best Caesar salad. Nicole served us today and was very knowledgeable about the drinks and pizza selections. We will be back very soon.

Great pizza! Detroit-style pizza served in a cool, hip restaurant. The flavors are terrific as is the dough - a very good pizza! The bar is great as they have draft wines and beer. The staff and service are all top-notch! Worth the wait when in town. Excellent at home pizza making classes are offered as well!

Most pizzerias only make great pizza, most burgers are made in restaurants focused on beef. At Emmy Squared, they have crafted award winning Detroit Style Pizza and a burger called the Le Big Matt! This Williamsburg location is the first and they have expanded to 28 locations around the Country. Check out my YouTube Channel Noah Eats and watch the full review

Burger was delicious as per usual, we also really liked the Brussel sprouts. The Hawaiian pizza and the gourda pizza (limited seasonal) were good but the middle felt a little under cooked. We’ve never noticed this at other locations. Wouldn’t recommend pizzas with huge chunks of cheese though because that makes the dough soggy.

Came by recently and had a great experience! I ordered the hurricane, which was made well. Perfect amount of liquor to juice ratio. Then we ordered the mozzarella sticks. They were crunchy and cheesy. Great cheese pull! The marinara sauce that came with it was great as well and wasn’t acidic at all. For our meals we got the MVP and we built a pizza with pesto, bacon and ranch. Bob pizzas were AMAZING. They were so filling we had to take them home, which we weren’t mad at! They taste great even a day later. The ambience was great. The playlist they had on was good too. The service was incredible as well. Tiffany was our server and she was so attentive and friendly! She made us feel so welcomed that now we know we definitely have to come back to this location. A wonderful experience, we can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Drove an hour into Brooklyn and regret not visiting sooner. Similar to Emily in west village and Indulged on their famous “Big Matt” burger and MVP Detroit style pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed this establishment and can’t wait to be back.

We came here after dinner for a late night snack. There are several other pizzerias in the area but this one didn't have a long line. The restaurant had a few people eating in but there was no hostess to great us. We waited for 10 minutes before just sitting at the bar. The restaurant had a dark and moody vibe going on. It would be great for a date night or late night hang out. I ordered a vodka pizza to go after finally get the bartender's attention after 20 minutes of waiting. I sat at the bar and it was little weird that no one bussed the bar. I was sitting next to someone's remnants of their meal and it was still there when we left. The pizza took another 20 minutes to go come out. It was picking hot. I was surprised that they didn't have any containers to put garlic/pepper flakes. The pizza was tasty and delicious. The top was saucy and flavorful with a nice satisfying crunchy crust. The pizza was a bit smaller than I was expecting for the price but it would make a nice once in a while treat.
